Music
Music class is a space for students to explore, collaborate, share, and learn about music and sound. Lessons for each grade level follow the guidance of the New York State BluePrint for the Arts.
The music room is filled with percussion instruments (triangles, bells, shakers, hand drums, and more) an electric keyboard, a drum set, a ukulele, and various xylophones. Students have opportunities to play, create, and sing together as they explore the elements of music. It is a space to not only learn, but to also cultivate a joy and curiosity for music.
