Thank you so much to all of the families that have contributed to the annual appeal. Due to your generosity, we have raised $41,400 in Annual Appeal, and $6,280 in Matching Gifts so far this school year. 

Our goal is to receive a donation of any size from 100% of PS 89 families. We are suggesting a donation this year of $1,400 per child. Please consider donating that amount to the Annual Appeal to ensure that we can continue funding to the extent we have in previous years. However, please remember that no donation is too small.

Tuesday, November 28 through December 5, 2017
The Holiday Toy Drive will be November 28th - December 5th. The toys will be donated to families in the Bronx River housing community. Our goal is to collect 300 toys for children of all ages. The most popular toys in previous years have been basketballs, footballs, legos, art sets and dolls. It is a great opportunity to let your children experience the gift of giving. 
All toys can be dropped off in a box by the security desk and should be unwrapped.

The PS 89 PTA has teamed up with Barnes and Noble Tribeca for the book fair! Kids and parents can shop anytime from Tuesday 12/12/17 thru Sunday 12/17/17 - a percentage of your sales will benefit PS 89! It's easy - shop till you drop and then simply present the following PS 89 code at checkout to help support our school: 12283321. Also, teacher wish lists will be available in-store during that week - be sure to support our classroom libraries too!! Please donate used uniforms, cleats, etc for this annual drive to benefit young soccer players in Africa. Boxes will be in the PS 89 lobby.

Order your pictures by December 12th and raise money for our school! 
Stomping Ground will give PS89 15% of the value of orders placed by the deadline. The more orders made by the deadline, the more that will come back to us!

The deadline for signing up is Monday, November 19th.
